Trish loves the music and the artists her grandmother played and emulated like Peggy Lee, Connie Frances and Ray Charles. Relocating from the MidWest in the late 70's to the San Francisco Bay area, she was exposed to the sounds of Thelonias Monk, John Coltrane, Nina Simone, Etta Jones, Betty Carter, Horace Silver, Johnny Hartman, Miles Davis, Joe Pass, Sarah Vaughan, Diane Reeves, Billy Holiday, Dexter Gordon, Stan Getz, Jobim, Joao Gilberto, Wes Montgomery, Bill Evans, etc, whom she immediately fell in love with and began a serious study of, which prompeted a long and fulfilling immersion into Jazz.
From listening and listening to the recordings of these artists, Trish became passionate about learning jazz technique and voice development and decided to renew her love of singing, which she began in adolescence. Trish performed in the San Francisco Bay Area in clubs, restaurants, cafes, wineries and private parties for over 20 years. She is available in a duo, trio, quartet, quintet or septet jazz group, depending upon your event needs.
For dinner jazz for restaurants and hotels, Trish is currently working with Milt Goedde, jazz pianist. After playing on the road in the early and mid-70s, Milt's passion for jazz has not waned. He has been playing in and around the Cincinnati area as a solo piano musician and in various combos and jazz big bands. He has also played piano and organ in churches for the past 35 years.
